Hello folks,
it's been a long time since I logged into my blog and just a long since i posted a blog. The present situation with this terrible virus (covid-19) is unmanageable in my lifetime as in many others. With so many lives lost and as far as we are concerned in the UK to date we are still maybe a couple of weeks away until the virus peaks. My deepest condolences to all the people of the world who have lost loved ones.
I thought with all the extra time on my hands that i would get back into baking if nothing else but to rediscover my passion and to get back to basics. With the shortage of flour and yeast at the moment due to panic buying, there is no better time to get back into baking sourdough. No yeast necessary, but a keen eye on the lookout for strong flour a must.
So anyway I will endeavour to post some fresh posts and perhaps do a couple of videos for youtube. Until then I'll leave you with a few of my recent bakes, nothing fancy just good auld fashion baking. Stay safe folks & look after each other especially the vulnerable.
